Train Hoku

TH is 3 years 5 months old and he was diagnosed of having a Mild ASD and speech delay. From a non- verbal individual he now is talking although some of the words coming out are incomprehensible. He now able to understand and follow simple instructions. He now understands the word ‘no..no(s)’ when he does something unacceptable…and ‘okay or good boy’.. when he does something good.  He even starts to use words such as ‘Les go’ meaning ‘let’s go’ if we were to take him out for a drive. To us this is such an amazing progress. We understand that the process of learning for him is not an overnight process. We thank Ms Effy for patience and giving our son a chance to follow her therapies. She is such an amazing person with some amazing ways of teaching. I even recommended her to my friend who also has ASD children. I believe with her assistance and guidance, TH will be able to speak fluently and be ready to attend the normal school.

Teacher Effy has been super supportive in helping our son with his behavioral issues, coming up with different strategies not just for SH but for his teachers and us parents too. Thank you so much teacher effy for being very patient, kind and understanding and being able to connect with SH and giving support. More importantly, thank you for doing what you do out of LOVE for helping kids with special needs.
